This one-day PhD workshop, organised by the new Centre for Discourse Studies at Aalborg University, aims to bring together PhD students (and interested scholars) in Denmark and the Nordic countries to discuss the role and analysis of metaphor in (political) discourse.

The workshop took place after the opening seminar on Saturday, 8th June 2002 at Kroghstræde 3, Aalborg University (the same location as the opening seminar).

The workshop consisted of a presentation by the invited guest speaker, a discussion period, and presentations by PhD students and/or scholars. Participation in the workshop is 100 DKK, which covers tea/coffee, an Italian lunch and administrative costs.
